Rainbet aims to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. This statement sets out what we have done, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when something does not work.
Standard We Work To
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the level referenced by the Accessible Canada Act and by equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.
What We Have Implemented
- Semantic structure. Headings descend in order, landmarks identify header, navigation, main and footer regions, and lists are marked up as lists.
- Keyboard access. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
- Colour contrast. Body text and interface elements meet the 4.5:1 minimum against their background.
- Text alternatives. Images that convey information carry descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Responsive layout. Content reflows to 320px width and supports 200 percent zoom without horizontal scrolling or loss of content.
- Readable copy. Tables carry row headers, links describe their destination rather than saying "click here", and the language of each page is declared.
- No motion traps. Nothing auto-plays, flashes or moves without user action.
Known Limitations
We would rather list these than claim perfection.
- Some screenshots of casino interfaces contain text within the image. Alt text describes the purpose, but the embedded text is not individually machine-readable.
- Large comparison tables require horizontal scrolling on narrow screens. Row headers are marked up so screen reader navigation remains coherent.
- Third-party content, where it appears, may not meet the same standard.
If an accessibility barrier stops you using this site, tell us and we will fix it. We treat accessibility reports as bugs, not as feature requests.
Reporting a Problem
Contact us through the contact page with the page URL, a description of what happened, and the assistive technology and browser you were using. We aim to acknowledge within two working days and to fix confirmed barriers promptly.
Assistive Technology We Test With
Testing is carried out with NVDA and VoiceOver, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom at 200 and 400 percent, in current versions of Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
