We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking for ad profiling.
Strictly Necessary
These make the site function and cannot be switched off. They include the record of your cookie consent choice — which is itself a cookie, unavoidably — and any security or load-balancing cookie set by our host. They store no personal identifier.
Preferences
If you switch between the English and German versions of the site, that choice may be remembered so you land on the right one next time. Purely a convenience; nothing is shared.
Analytics
Analytics cookies count visits and record which pages are read, where traffic came from and roughly which country a visitor is in. Reporting is aggregate. We use this to decide what to write next, not to identify anyone.

Affiliate Attribution
